Fr. Rafail Noica: The Poison of New Age Spirituality

“Today we are beaten and plagued by many abominations that we will not at all be able to face. I believe that times are coming to plague this world which we will not be able to face with anything, and without realizing it we will swallow poison after poison, and I am speaking about New Age [spirituality] and all that it brings us; and many, many holy souls of good Christians with pure consciences have fallen—better said, we have fallen—into many kinds of errors without realizing it until the Saviour in His goodness found a way to wake us up and bring us to the true faith. We gained much experience through this, and those who have fallen know that it is a fall, but for those who have not fallen, I would like to ask you to believe those who have fallen, and if you don’t believe, ask God for the grace to believe, because you don’t know if you will be able to get up from a fall, and if one or two reach the point of not being able to get back up—not that God can’t raise them back up, but there are falls which are extremely difficult for a person to get back up from, despair from which man rises with great difficulty.”
