Elder Sofian Boghiu (d. Sep 14, 2002): Faith is Life!
The truth is that God exists, that God is Love and does not need to be confessed with tomes of sermons, but through the life of those who believe. Faith is life!
For two thousand years, Satan has held an open trial in the world against the Savior Christ. The prince of this world (John 12:31) does not want to lose his underlings.
For two thousand years, the Church has been persecuted on earth, sometimes even by those within it. Each generation and each member of the Church must give his testimony in this trial that transcends every time and place. For those who confess Christ, the Lord Jesus will confess before His Father (Matt 10:32). At the end of this trial, it will be made known to everyone how we knew the Lord and how much we felt the power of the Holy Spirit in our life, how much we repented for our sins, and how much the Holy Spirit pierced our hearts. Thus, we absolutely need repentance, confession, fulfilling the Church’s commandments, and then–as a result–our life in this world, [will be] a life lived in God.
The truth is that God exists, that God is Love and does not need to be confessed with tomes of sermons, but through the life of those who believe. Faith is life!
We should not cry about evil, but about the lack of good. Confessors of Christ are lacking in the world! The Holy Spirit is missing from our life! We should not be afraid of an atomic bomb, but of the bomb of God’s wrath which appears on account of our heavy sins and our lack of repentance!
Let us return to a life in God–something that depends only on us! Let us call on the Holy Spirit in every circumstance, in every thought and action, and then, when He will be present in our life, we will be worthy to call ourselves Christians!
